Some pieces of clothing are more than the material that drapes our body.  That is most evident with jeans, dungarees, denim, or whatever you may call those two-legged treasures that carry with them the stories of our lives.  It is why we find it difficult to discard them and why each hole, fray, and tear represents the broad spectrum of our accomplishments and our scars.  The evolution of our jeans parodies our own personal evolution and thus the sustainability of denim transcends fashion.  It is with those principles of personal attachment and sustainability that REKNOW was launched. 

All of REKNOW products are created from leftover, scrap, denim that would otherwise become waste.  These pieces of denim deserve their own story and personal connection. And with each design, REKNOW raises awareness about waste reduction, highlights the beauty in transformation, and inspires others to see value in what's overlooked.

The Reknow collection is from the vision of Dorene Gorman, a career fashion designer with a passion for eco-friendly apparel and principally involved in sustainable denim since 2017.
